All in the open air, Samsung Electronics for example, used the project for the Samsung Smart Fitness at the Foro Italico in Rome.
London Booster
Artist David Cerny created London Booster for the London Olympic Games. The four-legged bus does the push-ups! It moves up and down at various heights and angles and the windows are screens.
The Spirit of McLaren - Ginevra
An artist’s ability to meet the changing needs of each one-of-a-kind piece is critical to creating memorable art in public places. The goal is to present a message that fits the place or the customer’s request, without sacrificing personal artistic style. Derek Kinzett’s wire sculpture, The Spirit of McLaren, is an example of how even large companies can benefit greatly from art.
Crychloids
David Cerny’s Crychloids are giant humanoids made around the Miura Hotel in the Czech village of Celadna. The cubic silver figures perfectly match the hotel’s sharp-edged steel structure, which mimics the spiky backdrop of the Beskydy Mountains.
Snow Leopard
Coming down from the heights of the SKC sports arena, Gabor Szoke’s “Snow Leopard” is truly grabbing the public’s attention. The magic of the work derives from its dynamic interaction with the building. As an urban art designer, Szoke is second to none for his ability to consistently deliver epic pieces like this one. The artist has an unsurpassed mastery of the means he uses: wood and stainless steel. His young and vigorous energy has been injected into towns and cities around the world, of which this installation is one of many striking examples.
Atlanta Falcon - Mercedes Benz Stadium
Millions of people visit the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia each year, home to the Atlanta Falcons football team. Since 2017, those soccer fans have been greeted by a stainless steel hawk sculpture 41.5 feet tall and 72 feet wide. The sculpture was designed and created by the world famous sculptor Gábor M. Szőke. Gábor created many monumental animal sculptures in stainless steel and hardwood. His public works of art are exhibited in major cities around the world.
Hermes Horse
Runnymede Farms, a historic New Hampshire farm, commissioned Friesian. Visitors to the farm admire the iconic art installation, which serves as a symbol of tradition and innovation. The ancient plow discs are now featured in a completely contemporary and elegant design. A scrap metal sculpture like this has the power to turn a town square into a landmark, or an open field into a sight to behold. The “Horses” project commemorates the unique history of equestrian America and the hard work of Americans and promotes sustainability, a topic of growing interest in the world.
Pistons
A 20-meter-high gas tank along Interstate 75 was the site of the commemoration of the Detroit Pistons and Detroit Shock basketball championships.
It is no secret that sport is not only a popular pastime for millions of Americans, but that it also brings an entire city together, especially in moments of victory. An iconic work of art is the answer that River Rouge, Michigan, in southern Detroit, has chosen to bring back these exciting and fun moments, thanks to artist Eric Henn.
The Perfect Pasture
“The Perfect Pasture” is a mural on a public water tank of cultural value recognized throughout America, as more cities and utilities collaborate with artists such as the Goetzinger brothers to bring about magic. The Lynden, Washington Public Landscape Mural focuses on what the city is proud of: its beauty and the enchanting nature that surrounds it. This brings the city together and can also show how a water company is truly projected to the well-being of a city.
